I am a huge dork for blogging about this.
I hate tissue boxes because they are so ugly, but I didn’t want to buy one of those box covers. I ordered the Toro Tissue Ring from CB2 a few weeks ago, and it came just in time for me to get a cold and use it 1,000 times. It works so well, and it looks much better than a cardboard tissue box!
It’s just a heavy metal ring that you set on top of your tissues. So simple. Why didn’t I think of it? My only complaint is that the price seems a little steep for just a ring of metal. Oh well, I guess someone has to pay those clever designers.
Every time I blow my nose I can’t wait to pull a tissue through the ring.

That’s actually pretty cool! …Now I want one. LOL. But it seems like it’d get lifted a bit when you pull out a tissue? CB2 needs a video demonstration, haha.
The ring doesn’t lift at all because it’s so heavy! Magic!
I got one of these too and love it. I don’t think mine’s the same brand (found it at amazon dot ca) but it is damn heavy and works perfectly.
I laughed when you said that you were a dork. It’s odd. It is such a simple ring but it really does look chic.
