Remember my plan for fixing up my husband’s home office? I finally implemented it, and I’m quite happy with the results. I intend to collect a few more illustrations to hang above my desk, and a vintage world globe I snagged for $2 on ebay is on it’s way here, but other than that it’s finished.
Daniel’s desk is in the corner not pictured, since it’s not quite pretty enough to make the blog. His chair is heinous, because he thinks comfort is more important than looks when it comes to office chairs. Where does he get these crazy ideas? I’m going to stop wearing makeup, only wear baggy sweatpants and tell him comfort is more important than looks. Then he’ll change his tune!
I hung some of Daniel’s Gears of War comic books and a poster above his desk—just for a little something manly in the room. Aren’t I sweet for sharing a corner of his office with him?

Wow. That looks very nice.
It’s beauiful! I love all the colours and the round rug. It’s the perfect office. Hehe I really laughed when I read your husband’s desk wasn’t pretty enough for the blog :D I know the feeling.
Amanda, that is beautiful!!! I would love to come and see your house, maybe after the wedding, Deron and I could come for a visit!
beautiful space. loving the colors on your walls :) would love to see the loft space you have (photographed in one of your most recent entries about changing the lighting fixture).
