Daniel doesn’t have a man cave at home, because he spends the majority of his time at work. (Also, my stuff takes up the whole house hehehe.) The company he works for just completed their new building which includes a rock climbing wall, a huge slide between floors, ping pong, foosball, a pool table, an amazing kitchen filled with free food, scooters to zoom around the hallways and a sweet gym. Daniel has moved into a nice big office and finally decided that he should decorate, since for the past four years he hasn’t had so much as a picture of me on his desk. He has given me free rein of office decorating…within reason of course!
We could paint the walls if we were so inclined, but when I asked Daniel what color his office was he said “off white.” I went to visit, and the room was actually painted green. Not off white. Not even close to off white. So, I’m not bothering to paint walls he doesn’t even notice!
Daniel asked me to do a painting for him to hang, so that’s in the works. I have a few other items in mind that are a must have for his man cave office (like a potted plant and some ninja star coat hooks), but for now we’ll start with the basics…
1 Dart board (to encourage male bonding)
2 Speech Bubble White board (for messages like “playing ping pong, back in 20″)
3 Astro Rocket (because it’s awesome)
4 Floor Lamp (even computer nerds need a little light)
5 Ladder Bookcase (to fill with quirky boy toys and maybe even a few books)
6 Matrix Cube Alarm Clock (so he will know when it’s time to come home)
7 Storage Ottomans (for extra seating during dartboard tournaments)

That is so cool…I really need you to come over and tell me what my house needs!
Sure, I love spending other people’s money! ; )
Ha well I don’t have a lot of it but I will totally do whatever you tell me to do! I just need your eye!
O_O Are you joking on what his office building is like?
Nope, not joking or exaggerating—it’s crazy! Sometimes we go and hang out there on the weekends!
