Spirograph

July 23rd, 2010

Lately I’ve been reminiscing about the Spirograph I had as a kid, so when I ran across this “hypotrochoid art set” I had to get it. I played with it for a while this afternoon, and do you know what? It is hard! I kept messing up, making my lines crooked and letting the guide slip, so most of my “hypotrochoids” ended up looking like scribbly blobs. I was a lot better at this when I was 10, or maybe I was just less perfectionistic…

  1. Oh my gosh, I remember having one of these as a kid. I loved it! And yes, I was probably less of a perfectionist then too. Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. I usually got frustrated and ended up using the little gear things as a table topper or something with my Barbies LOL. But that looks so cool!

  3. Oh my gosh! I wish I still had my spirograph! I may have to get this! Thanks! =)

oh I remember you still got irritated with it then too :P

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
