Pillow Covers

August 25th, 2010

One can never have too many throw pillows, but Daniel (in his ignorance) thinks we reached that point a long time ago. He forbade me from getting any more pillows, but I found a loophole—pillow covers!

We have lots of red pillows because I like to rotate them on the couches in the living room. I wanted some funkier pillows in my basement studio, and covering the extra red pillows was the perfect solution. Now I have four new pillows (without technically buying any pillows), and I can revert back to my red pillows any time I feel the urge to shuffle them around.

Aren’t I a clever devil?

If I knew how to use my sewing machine I could’ve made these myself, but sometimes it’s nice to support small businesses and shop on etsy! My covers are from diypillows, this little home, and milk&cookies canada.

I refer to decorative pillows as “TUPs” short for Totally Useless Pillows. I am concerned that over time they will become a huge weight, like back issues of National Geographic, which will add up enough to throw the rotation of the earth off balance.

  3. Ahahahahahahhahaha Priceless. *high five*
