If you want to practice your hair cutting skills without destroying any friendships, just get a dog. They might be a little wiggly at times, but they don’t mind one bit if you mess up.

Aww, she’s (he’s?) so cute! We cut my dog’s fur, too, but she’s much, much bigger than your’s, and it’s super hard sometimes! Anyway, very cute. Better keep a close eye on her, I might come steal her, she’s so adorable!! :)

I bet puppies are less critical of hair cuts. Once as I started to cut my daughter’s hair she said, “Mommy, Don’t make me look like a goof.” And she was only 3 years old! Ha ha
