Can you believe it’s already time for holiday parties? Daniel’s office party is this Friday! I ended up finding the perfect little black dress to wear, but while I was shopping I couldn’t help admiring the latest looks by Ann Taylor Loft. Their stylists are so good at the whole layering thing!

I’m not a chicken pot pie connoisseur, but this recipe makes the best pot pie I’ve ever tasted. Sometimes I regret that our backyard is completely wooded. I want to pack up and move every summer when swarms of insects crawl out of the trees to attempt (and often succeed) to enter our house. But then fall comes along with its gorgeous colors and makes me forget the horrors of summer.

Maidenhair Fern

Posted by Amanda (wit & whistle) on November 11th, 2010 under Home + Garden Tags: , ,  •  3 Comments

This week I adopted a maidenhair fern. They are one of my favorite plants, and this one is especially lovely. I haven’t found a planter worthy of its lush beauty, so I think I’m going to make my own out of an old vase. Hopefully my fern will be pleased!
