This week I adopted a maidenhair fern. They are one of my favorite plants, and this one is especially lovely. I haven’t found a planter worthy of its lush beauty, so I think I’m going to make my own out of an old vase. Hopefully my fern will be pleased!

Oh how I love maidenhair ferns. Unfortunately for them I am a terrible plant ‘mother’ so my little lovely maidenhair is currently in recovery on my back deck. They grow back well so that’s a positive!
That’s funny PJ, because yesterday morning I noticed my fern was wilted. Already I’m killing it, and I haven’t even had it for a week! Luckily it revived with some water, but I bet I will be a terrible fern mother too! Maidenhairs must be high maintenance.
