Ever since reading The Joy of Less I’ve been pondering my closet. Francine suggested building a simple wardrobe containing basic multifunctional pieces that can be spiced up with accessories. I think this dress is the perfect example! How would you wear it?
AT THE OFFICE:
1 ASOS Ponti Dress from ASOS
2 Cropped Wool Tuxedo Jacket from J.Crew
3 Glitzy Stripes Scarf from Forever21
4 Pointelle Lightweight Sweater Tight from Urban Outfitters
5 Rocket Dog Marilyn Fabric Flat from DSW
ON A HOT DATE:
1 ASOS Ponti Dress from ASOS
2 Woven Brass Bead Pink Tourmaline Earrings from MireilleLagow
3 Dune Gaffle Satin Ruffle Clutch Bag from ASOS
4 Slim Shine Belt from Anthropologie
5 Capecoral High Heel from Aldo
AT THE FLEA MARKET:
1 ASOS Ponti Dress from ASOS
2 Raspberry Trifle Shoulder Bag from ModCloth
3 ASOS Oversized ’70s Stripe Floppy Straw Hat from ASOS
4 Slivered Skinny Belt from Anthropologie

love all the looks! digging that slivered skinny belt from anthropologie!
You have great fashion vision. I will take them all! oh, I guess that is not the idea of “The Joy of Less”. Oops
I really like the idea of keeping a wardrobe of staples to jazz up or jazz down depending on the occasion. I think you’ve captured a few different looks there perfectly. Good work! :)
Oh! I am loving the flea market version. What an eye for style & versatility!
I LOVE THIS! I love that dress! just wanted to ask too.. where do you create the images? Do you shoot the bags and shoes? :)
For these style posts I just pull the images from the retailers’ websites and collage them together in Photoshop. I wish I owned them all so I could shoot them myself!
