Frozen Grapes

June 8th, 2011

It’s 98 °F today. Stepping outside feels like climbing into someone’s mouth—hot, moist, and suffocating. It’s going to be a long summer, but cold snacks like frozen grapes help take the edge off. The next time you get a bunch of sweet delicious grapes stick them in the freezer. It’s the easiest way to make your own popsicles!

They are so delicious, but since they don’t contain chocolate I’m afraid I couldn’t convince myself to eat them for dessert. ;)

Great idea! I will have to buy some grapes now. I agree about them as a snack and not dessert.

Wonder if you could dip them in chocolate like peanut butter balls then freeze them? Or have a candy bar close by when you eat frozen grapes – pop a grape, eat some candy and repeat until satisfied.

  4. thanks for reminding me about frozen grapes — they are so, so good!

  5. Oh, I used to eat frozen grapes all the time in the summer while I was growing up! They’re a great way to rehydrate, too, if you don’t like the taste of water like me

  6. Yes, I love frozen grapes!! Thanks for the reminder. I haven’t made them in quite awhile.

  7. Ooohhhhh, even just looking at these pics gave me physical shivers! I loved frozen grapes as a kid but biting into them now makes my sensitive teeth freak out! Haha.

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
