Wednesday is the blog’s two year anniversary, so I decided that the layout needed some sprucing up. I’ve spent the last few weeks hacking away at PHP and CSS to make a brand new site, complete with multiple pages (unlike the old site). I like the new design so much better, and and I think it’s much more consistent with the Wit & Whistle aesthetic.

Hopefully the “after” is what you are seeing in your browser too! I still have some tweaking to do here and there, but for the most part it’s finished. I’m definitely not a programming pro—I just sort of hack away at things to figure out what works. Next I’ll be working to make my products available for purchase here at witandwhistle.com. Of course I will continue to sell via my Etsy shop as well.
Oh yeah, and I updated the Wit & Whistle logo too!

nice work :) looks really good. I hack at things til they work too.. the only way i know how :)
looks GREAT! i simply love your aesthetic, visiting your blog is always a treat :)
Love the new design!
the new design is beautiful!! I’m like you, I just hack away at things until they work, but mine doesn’t turn out nearly this lovely =)
Looks awesome!
Love the new logo and the new look, all the elements work so well together! I especially like the stripey border at the top of the page :)
The stripey border at the top is my favorite part! For some reason I had the hardest time implementing it, but the whole layout looked off without it. I’m glad you particularly like it too!
I LOVE THIS! So beautiful and simple!
