Style: Midnight in Paris

July 25th, 2011

Daniel and I finally saw Midnight in Paris over the weekend. We really enjoyed it! (Now Daniel is claiming that we’ve seen Paris and can cross it off our list of places to visit. HAH.) Rachel McAdams’ character was hateable, but I’m in love with the effortless yet charming shirtdresses she wore throughout the film. Have you seen it yet?

  1. I saw it, and LOVED it! and now not only is my need to go back to paris multiplied 1000-fold, i also would like to visit paris in the 1920′s. so that’s unfortunate :)
i loved the shirtdresses, but actually i hated how she mostly wore them, with the belt slung so low! it looked almost like she was trying to hide or accommodate a baby bump. i prefer the belt up high & tighter, to accentuate your waist (not to highlight the biggest part of it!) other than that, LOVED it, and let me know if you’re heading to paris, i will hop on a plane & join you!

Haha! Yeah, if it were up to me I definitely would have tightened her belts a few notches. I wonder if they were trying to mimic the drop waist flapper dresses of the 20s?
