Watercolor Therapy

July 29th, 2011

Do you ever feel like your to-do list is so long that you might as well not do anything, because you’ll never make a dent in it? Today has been one of those days. I have a million things to do, so what did I do? I painted! Playing with watercolors is so relaxing. It’s soothing to watch the color drip down the page. So what if I didn’t accomplish anything?

I’ve been pondering what to put in this snazzy striped frame for a while. It needs to be something understated since the frame is so bold. I think a watercolor blob might be the perfect frame filler. What do you think?

So happy I have come across your blog, I am addicted to it. Creepy? Totally; but seriously…I check it every day since I first found it. Feel free to run and hide at any moment. :)

Related to post? Love the subtleness of the watercolor art with the bold frame, very intriguing.

  4. I love water colors. I’m not very good a traditional painting but water colors always turn out nice!

I just adore your blog! Painting is definitely not a waste, we should create beautiful things every day! (though, that can also be seen as adding more to the miles long to do list haha!) x

  6. Love how cool these watercolor prints look in that striped frame! Nice contrasts which complement each other so perfectly! Just discovered your blog and shop recently – love your work so much I ordered a set of jotters.

  7. What a fun way to add original color to a room?!?!?!?!?!?!

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
