I snapped some photos around my parents’ garden last weekend that inspired me to fill a few pages in my sketchbook. Here are the photographs and their corresponding doodles.
It is so lovely to see your inspirations. I am loving the sketching on the first page, can’t wait to see what you’ll do with it.
every piece of art is made that much better with process! love seeing the making-of here and beautiful spring photos.
It’s amazing how many shapes nature comes up with :) What sort of pen do you use for the sketches? Thank you for the beautiful blog.
These are my favorite pens! http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Precise-Rolling-Barrel-12-Count/dp/B00006IEBI
Lovely… I feel very frustrated by not be able to draw
Wow! Columbine already??? Lucky! It’s my most favorite of all spring flowers. I’m waiting rather impatiently for mine to bloom. Your sketches are lovely!
I like your doodles.
love your dreamy sketches. Someday they need to be on fabric!!!!!!
I’m working on it! :)
As always I am inspired by you, but I still need to pull out my sketch book and start sketching. Thanks for sharing!
You could always start by doodling on some scrap paper. Sketchbooks are intimidating when you haven’t used one for a while, at least I think so!
I love these sketches! Especially the very last one.
I wish I could draw like that. I might give it a try this weekend just to see what happens. Thanks for the inspiration!
Absolutely love your Clematis interpretations and am inspired to get out the pencils myself.
