Eno River

June 5th, 2012

Craziness has been going on at Daniel’s office this week, so he took the day off. Considering that it was 75 degrees today (In June! That never happens here!) we packed a picnic lunch, and went hiking at Eno River State Park in Durham, NC. It was beautiful and deserted on a Tuesday afternoon. I think nature is about 100 times prettier when no one else is around, don’t you agree?

  7. Amanda,
I adore that photo of your dogs racing toward you as your husband stands in the background grinning. The joy from each is contagious!

Eno River is always a better choice than crunching in the office.

  9. Hi Amanda! I found your blog about a week or so ago, and just love it. I’ve always been a fan of your work via Etsy, but just connected with your blog.

Oliver and Mabel are ADORABLE! They look like little fluff balls in the grass. Dogs bring so much joy, don’t they? We’ll be in the Durham/CH area for vacation early next week, and might have to check out Eno River State Park if the weather cooperates!

    Cheers,

Thanks Ashley, I’m so glad you found the blog! Yes, dogs are the best. I love how funny ours look out in the woods, since they aren’t exactly rugged looking. I hope you get to visit Eno next week. It’s beautiful!

  10. That flower picture is awesome, I love where the focus is.

  11. So cute! I wish I had some doggies to walk with and I miss the Eno :)

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
