Wit & Whistle Pillows!

January 21st, 2013

Hi. I’m Amanda, and I’m a throw pillow addict. I can’t get enough of them. I love a sofa covered with so many pillows that there’s no place to sit. Daniel finally had to cut me off, so the only way to get my pillow fix was to start making them!

Five of my hand drawn designs are now available as pillow covers. The covers are printed on both sides and have hidden zipper closures along the bottoms to accommodate standard 16″ x 16″ pillow forms. They were carefully sewn by none other than my talented mother (thanks Mom)! I have limited quantities of these in stock starting out, and they’re available right here.

I’m so excited to be able to offer home goods in addition to my paper products! To help me celebrate, use the coupon code W&WHOME to take 20% off all pillow covers and tea towels until the end of January (offer not valid in my Etsy shop).

I found a puddle full of pollywogs last summer and scooped some up with a jar. When I did the water swirled and they started swimming all over the place. It looked just like this pillow!

  22. Oh boy, these are fantastic pillows! We are under contract on a new home…and I’m thinking these would go really well with the couch I’ve got my eye on. New house, new pillows. Sounds good to me!

  23. Loooove these and love that you’ve found new ways to transfer your art on a new medium. The rain drops and honeycomb ones are my faves. :) I’ve been following you for a while and just love your aesthetic. Thanks for all the inspiration!

  24. Hi Amanda,
These are great!! I have been thinking myself for the future of bringing my sketches to new life in the form of textiles and pillows. May I ask how you got started and how you re-produce your prints to fabric?

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
