  1. I love that seal stamp! So cute!

  2. Travel journal is amazing! And it’s begging for some green-brown-yellow shades :)

  3. Deresa

Even though I love all of your other posts (always), I think these are probably my most favorite. It is always inspiring to see your sketches because it reminds me that you just have to begin. I get the itch to draw sometimes so badly, but I never just start. Hoping to knock that soon. Thank you for sharing!! Love seeing your ideas forming.

Thank you Deresa, that means so much since working in my sketchbook is one of my favorite things to do! :) Yup, getting start on a blank page is the hardest part—it’s all down hill from there.

  4. I love the glimpses into your sketchbook. The process of creating is so valuable and inspirational in and of itself. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Jenna

I have a sketch request for you sometime when you are out of ideas…I really want to get a small tattoo for Avery. I want it to be a heart with her name written into it, like in cursive as one of the sides of the heart. Does that make sense? I feel like you are the right man to sketch this idea, and once we have a sketch I am going to talk Spencer into getting it too. I am thinking white ink somewhere pretty inconspicuous (foot?) so Kylee doesn’t get jealous :-) . Anyway, let me know if you think you can handle this mission, or have a better idea (you are the creative genius after all).

  6. the travel journal (covers?) are so, so lovely!

  7. I LOVE that travel sketch! I just found your blog and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next! My coworker and I are cracking up at your cards. I hope that travel sketch becomes a print soon! :)

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
