The Taming of the Laundry Room (Part 2)

January 26th, 2010

After much painting, organizing, shelf hanging, and cabinet-putting-together-ing the laundry room is finally finished! It is bright and sunny, just like I wanted. Now let’s see how long I can keep it looking this good…

(And yes, yes I did change laundry detergents so the bottle would match…)

    Wow! Nice job!

Hey that looks great! So warm and sunny. I bet it makes doing the laundry more fun. I wish we had laundry rooms in England as I hate my washing machine being in the kitchen! Large houses may have a utility room (if they’re lucky) but smaller homes never do..

What a huge change. I know that gives you a great deal of satisfaction.

Rebecca – We looked at more than 30 houses when we were house hunting and this was the only one with a laundry room. I think we just got really lucky! : )

  6. Drew says:

How did you create such a warm and happy tone? Is it special lights or the color of the paint?

  7. Wit & Whistle says:

I think it’s the paint color. Valspar’s “Crafted White” color. It’s so cheery. : )
