The other day while editing some of my Iceland photos I accidentally scaled a photo down to 15 pixels wide instead of 1500 pixels wide, and I liked what I saw. Just a few blocks of color were able to maintain the mood of the photograph even though the details were completely lost. Before I [...]

My first screen printing run was a success! I enjoyed the process so much that I was practically giddy while printing these, so hopefully a bit of my happiness is embedded in each print. Here’s the fruit of my labor—a signed and numbered limited edition run of 50 hand pulled prints that are available now in the [...]

I love Jenn Ski’s work. It’s the perfect blend of retro + modern. You know when you see something you like so much you feel sick inside because you wish you made it yourself? That’s how Jenn Ski’s illustrations make me feel. SIGH. Her blog is amazing too. You can purchase prints here.

My husband works in the video game industry, and a while back we started creating a real time strategy game together for fun. Unfortunately a little concept art is as far as we got! These little critters would have hopped around underground digging tunnels, building colonies, and making babies. The queen is such a babe, [...]
