Summer is definitely not my favorite season, but all the sweet, ripe fruit available this time of year helps make up for it. I love trying new fruits! These are called champagne grapes, so naturally I thought they would taste like champagne. They actually just taste like regular grapes. Delicious, but not as bubbly as I imagined. I like to pretend I’m a giant when I’m eating them.

I sketched some fruit and veggie cross sections—possibly because I feel guilty for skipping the gym all week. How can kiwis be so delicious but look so vomitous? Hair on fruit is all wrong.
