Happy Easter
Wishing you all a very happy Easter!
Wishing you all a very happy Easter!
One day last week my mom came over, and we painted all afternoon. We made a huge mess! It reminded me of my high school art classes. Sometimes it’s a lot more fun to create with a buddy, don’t you think?
I’m coming down to the wire on my 28 by 29 list. I only have 3 weeks left to finish it! I’m not going to make it, but I think I’ve put a good dent in it. Today I did #28—make a painting. For some reason my paintings never end up being the style I [...]
They’re here!
Who’s ready for fall? I’ve never designed Halloween goodies before (well, except these postcards years ago), so I’ve been playing in my sketchbook to see what I can come up with. Here’s round two of playing with gouache. I’m having so much fun with this! Next week I’m going to try combining gouache painting with pen and ink. Enjoy your weekend!
This year I would love to add some hand painted designs to the Wit & Whistle lineup. I want to use gouache, but since I’ve only used it once before I need some practice. Gouache is like watercolor, but the colors are opaque (unless you keep adding too much water like I do). I’m going to practice [...]
