Do you have an old-timey tangible address book, or are you strictly a digital address book person? I was still using the hideous address book I got when I was a kid. It looked like a kid’s address book too and not in the nice, nostalgic way. On top of that, it was filled with the addresses of people I hadn’t talked to in years.
So, I decided to update my address book while sending Christmas cards to my friends and family this year. I ended up getting this classy Moleskine one.
I’m totally feeling like a grown-up over here. Now, what to do about the hand cramp I’m getting from writing in all these cards?
Here are some of my sketches that turned into this year’s holiday cards! I did these in the summertime while listening to Christmas music like a weirdo. I always struggle to get in the Christmas spirit in July, but Bing Crosby always helps.
Wit & Whistle holiday cards are in the shop! There are new designs and lots of old favorites too. Normally I try to wait until after Halloween to post holiday stuff, but Daniel and I are going on a trip next month, so my shop will be closed from November 23–December 5. I figured it would be a good idea to get a head start on the holidays!
I saved my favorite for last—Christmas postcards!
If I have annoyed you by posting about Christmas before Halloween, please accept my apologies and use the coupon code IAMAHALLOWEENIE to take 15% off your Halloween card purchase.
Now that Halloween is over I don’t feel weird about announcing that the Wit & Whistle holiday line is now available! I added a bunch of new cards to the lineup this year, but you’ll find some of the best sellers from previous years in the shop too.
I’m happy to report that witandwhistle.com is now open for business! You can shop for Wit & Whistle goods directly from the “shop” link above, or from the links at the top left. Of course, my trusty Etsy shop will remain open as well.
