Fall leaves are kind of like bananas. There are only a few days when they’re really at their prime—not too green and not too brown. This is one of those days! little known fact: We have an ent living in our backyard.

The other night we had a fierce thunderstorm, and many of the leaves that had just started sprouting on the trees were ripped from their branches and strewn all over the ground. Aren’t they adorable? Aren’t you dying to pinch their little leafy cheeks?
