Over the past few years I’ve been trying to gradually mix a few mid-century modern pieces into our living room. My birthday present came a few days early, and I think it’s the missing piece. Just look at those sleek flared legs and beautiful button tufts! It’s one of those classic pieces that will last [...]

I received a copy of Little Big Books for Christmas from my parents, and I have to share its awesomeness with you. It contains loads of children’s book illustrations in a wide range of styles. The pages are filled with useful advice about everything from [...]

I have no idea who Jamie Oliver is, but the recipes in this book are delicious. Well, I guess I can’t vouch for all of them since I haven’t made them all yet, but the 5 or 6 I’ve tried were scrumptious! So far Chicken Korma and Chicken and Leek Stroganoff (which only takes 20 [...]

I am a huge dork for blogging about this. I hate tissue boxes because they are so ugly, but I didn’t want to buy one of those box covers. I ordered the Toro Tissue Ring from CB2 a few weeks ago, and it came just in time for me to get a cold and use [...]
