Happy Halloween! My pumpkin is ready to welcome trick-or-treaters. This year I painted it gold before carving it up. Now it looks snazzy in the daylight too. You know the smell a pumpkin makes when it has a candle burning inside? I love that smell.

I bought these lamps for our bedroom when we first got married. Since then I decided that they were a bit too traditional for my taste, but it was nothing spray paint and new lampshades couldn’t fix! How sweet is the white ceramic tree from Urban Outfitters?
