Iceland was unbelievable. The scenery was breathtaking and magical—almost like visiting another planet. If you ever have a chance to visit, don’t hesitate to hop on a plane. I promised to share my vacation photos, so here they are. Sorry there are so many, but I just couldn’t narrow it down any further!
Reykjavík, Svartifoss in Skaftafell National Park, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, the black beaches of Vik, snorkeling in the Silfra Fissure, a pretty roadside view, Reynisdrangar, Fjadrargljufur Canyon, Dyrhólaey, Seljalandsfoss, and Seltún
The pictures are great and that place looks like something from a story book. Welcome back!
Wow. Lucky you! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous!!! OMG. So glad you got the chance to take some time away in this amazing location.
beautiful photos, thanks for sharing!
Sold, Iceland here I come. Stunning photos by the way!!
Looking at your pictures, I want to go soo badly! Wow!
Breathtaking! You have me wishing I could drop everything & go there right now!
I’m so glad you showed so many, although my travel posts usually include so much more than this, ha! I cannot wait to go to Iceland and your photos just made me feel that even stronger. To know that anyone can see such wonders by going there… can. not. wait!
Bah! Is this for real? It looks straight out of a National Geographic Magazine. How amazing for you.
Insane in the membrabe! …in the very best way. :) Welcome back!
I took the top one, although Amanda claims she did
How amazing! Now I feel bad that I haven’t been to Iceland before, living in Norway and everything. Shame on me.
Well, in your defense—Norway is gorgeous, so why leave? ;)
C’est magnifique ! Des paysages de rêve, plein de sérénité !
So glad you guys enjoyed the photos! I hope you all visit Iceland some day!
Stunning! I own Sigur Ros’ Heima video which was shot all over Iceland and it made me want to visit. It’s so beautiful. We’re headed to Stockholm & Copenhagen for our honeymoon in a few weeks and we cannot wait for a new landscape!
Oh! A friend recently introduced me to Sigur Ros’ music when she heard I was going to Iceland. I love it! I’ll have to check out the video. I hope you’ll share Stockholm & Copenhagen photos on your blog when you return! :)
Those pictures are marvelous!! Looks like a wonderful place to visit! Uncle Jeff would be proud of your photography.
I’ve always wanted to visit Iceland. (and Newfoundland and Norway and Lithuania – not in that order). I’ve recently come back from a Danish island in the Baltic Sea called Bornhølm. It was so beautiful there too. Thanks for sharing this with us!
You have just reaffirmed that I absolutely must go to Iceland and soon. Stunning photos.
BEAUTIFUL photos! What lense were you using? :D
I used a Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di-II VC LD for Canon.
You certainly seem to have hit all the major spots. Your post made me stupidly proud :) Love your blog btw
wow! i randomly came across this blog and am very inspired by your trip! i’m planning on going there next week and just wanted to know: did you rent a car? and if so, did you need to have a 4-wheel drive to get to the places you visited?
thanks!
Oh, I’m jealous! I want to go back! We did rent a car, and it was not 4-wheel drive. All the places we visited were accessible with our 2-wheel drive rental car. Have fun!
