I’m assuming I’m not the only one with empty frames laying around waiting for artwork to fill them, so here’s a simple solution for your empty frame woes.
Use an old school label maker (like this) to spell out a favorite quote, stick it on a piece of paper, and pop it into the frame. You could even spell out several quotations and rotate them for a little variety.
If you want to add a little more pizzaz, you could cover the paper with a watercolor wash before applying your labels.
This is so cool. I love the mix of water color with old school printed labels. Nice quote too.
As someone who is notoriously indecisive of what photos to put in frames, I LOVE this idea. I can’t wait to give it a try. So much more inspiring than staring at empty reminders.
Very fun!
Love this idea…Where on earth did you find that label maker?
Oh silly me…I see the link now!
I love this idea! And now that song is going to be stuck in my head!
SUch a neat idea, can be done quickly good for a quick gift for someone who has a favorite saying. Mine is one I made up years ago (like 40 years ago) “I’m not afraid of the rain, if I thought I would melt I would stay in it until I was a size 10!” I think I will make one with that saying. Thank you for the idea. Oh chocolate is still first with me over anything.
This is such a good idea. Thank you so much!
This is such a beautiful and meaningful gift idea! (While also on a budget!) I love it! And I am about to make it right now… For my lucky boyfriend of course on Valentine’s Day!
So, thank you Amanda for such beautiful inspiration and sharing your projects!
I LOVE THIS. So badass.
AWESOME! AM ORDERING NOW!
