Fall Color 2012

Fall leaves are kind of like bananas. There are only a few days when they’re really at their prime—not too green and not too brown. This is one of those days!

The maple is gorgeous! I have one of your seedlings from last year that is still growing (slowly) and showed the same colors this year. It will be some time before it is as tall as the mother tree!

The previous owners had that up! I told them I liked it so they left it behind for us. :)

Ahhh… I love the way that you guys do Autumn. I was in New England for peak foliage season (about six weeks ago) and took hundreds of photos.

We don’t get the full changes of seasons where I’m from, and now that I’m back in Australia we’re staring down the barrel of Summer. THANK YOU for letting me relive fall through your post!

Here are some of my photos from Vermont, if you’re interested. (I didn’t find any ents though!) http://scarletwords.com/2012/11/10/vermont-in-the-fall/

These pictures are so beautiful. The fall leaves are gone gone one her in Salt Lake City. But I surely do miss them. This makes me nostalgic. I am enjoying the new fallen snow though.

Oh, I hope we get snow here this year. We didn’t get so much as one flake last winter!

Autumn is by far my favorite season. How lucky you are to still have beautiful colors this time of year! As I type this, the trees are barren, the ground is covered with a thin layer of frost, and the sun has already set (and it’s only 5… one of the few downfalls of autumn). I love your pictures, they are beautiful as always! And the Ent is so fun :)

I looooove those fall colours! Where I live, it’s already over :( Days have gotten misty and cold as winter already…anyway, tell me you made the face with clay or something…because, otherwise, I’d be scared…

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
