New Zealand (Days 4-6)

Here’s the next batch of photos from our New Zealand trip—farther inland to beautiful lakes, rolling green hills, and snow capped mountains. I miss it already!

I’m hoping to have a fun post for you on Christmas day, so don’t forget to stop by!

I’m going to need a fainting chair. I love these photos! My only concern is (and this stupid)… WHERE ARE THE SHEEP?! I always imagine NZ to just be covered in sheep. Like a giant fluffy carpet of enormous fuzzy buddies.

Oh, there were sheep everywhere! So many little lambs too since it was spring. In some places we had to wait for them to move off the road so we could drive through. They were really timid though, so my attempts to snuggle a lamb were thwarted. ;)

Beautiful! I did a report on New Zealand in fourth grade (did you happen to see any Kiwi birds?) and I have wanted to go ever since. It seems so exotic. You’re photos are awesome!

We did see a kiwi waddling by one night when we were pulling into a campsite after dark!

Stunning photography and an equally stunning place. Your photos could totally be used by the tourism council. My dream is to go down there for six months, and tour all around Australia (including Tasmania) and New Zealand. It is so far to get to, and I want to see EVERYTHING. If you’re going to dream, dream big!!

Looks like you had an amazing trip. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful photos.
