The Rock & Shop Market

Here are a few photos from the Rock & Shop Market on Saturday! I was a little flustered making sure I had everything set up, so I don’t have many—just enough to prove I was there. I loved chatting with customers face to face for a change, and all day belly laughter filled the air around my table as folks read my cards. It was delightful.

Thanks to the incredible Michelle Smith for putting together such an amazing event, thank you to those of you who stopped by to say “hi”, and thanks to my awesome mom for giving up her Saturday to help me!

Ohhh… Amanda! Lamintations! I don’t live too very far away (about an hour) and as soon as you had posted about the event I texted my hubby the link so that we could make plans to come! But — bummer, it turned out that we had a previously obligated wedding to attend that was the same day…
I had visited the website about the whole “goings on” and was excited to check it all out, so I am regretful that we didn’t get to come. I love your work, blog & design aesthetic so I hope I’ll have the opportunity to check out your wares “live” some time in the future & to meet you F2F!

I’m thrilled that you had a delightful experience though! CONGRATS!!!

Your booth looks great! I love the way you utilized simple but effective props. Well done! I’ve been doing shows for over 20 years and know the value of a well thought out display that is appropriate for your work. You did a great job and I’m glad you a great experience. Getting immediate feedback on your work is priceless, isn’t it?

Well, I wouldn’t call it a commercial success, but it was a great experience to have. ;)

Hi Amanda–so sorry I didn’t get to stop by your table and speak to you in person at the show. Congrats on today’s feature on The Makery! You’re doing really great work…even if your mom didn’t eat her placenta :D I look forward to seeing all the places your work takes you!

Hi Amanda! Love your set up! I am a crafter in Columbus, Ohio. Do you mind me asking how you made the banner that was on the front of your table?

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
