Your sketchbook posts are some of my favorite. I love all of these! Also, I totally write stuff like “this looks like crap” in my sketchbook too, haha. It can be frustrating at times, but I suppose that’s part of the process!

Thanks Julie! Making crap is definitely part of the process, haha! For some reason it makes me feel better to label it as such before I move on to something else.

I really love seeing all your sketchbook pics. I haven’t sketched in a LONG time and seeing your work inspires me to start again. Also, I really liked the “crappy” to do list. Any suggestions for getting started again? Keep on posting, please!

Thanks Deresa! If you’re wanting to get started sketching again after a long break, I’d recommend starting small. Try doodling on a scrap of paper whenever you’re on the phone or watching TV. Once you’re starting to feel comfortable drawing again, pick up a new sketchbook to work in and give yourself a goal (like filling one page a week). Hopefully that helps! :)

That last list is awesome. I have a thing for bees and list making. I’d snatch that list pad up in a heart beat.

I’m glad you like it! It will be coming to the shop soon! :)

So your sketchbook posts are my very most favorite. I always get some boost of inspiration from them! I’m wondering if you’d share what kind of pen you use for your sketches?

Keep the beauty coming, I love it!

Love the first two repeated patterns. Drawing on grey/white graph paper is such a great idea! I usually doodle on blank paper, which leads to patterns going haywire really quickly. Thanks for the inspiration :)

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
