House Plant Portrait No. 3

I think it’s high time for another house plant portrait! Today I painted my┬áSansevieria trifasciata (aka snake plant or mother-in-law’s tongue). These plants are the best. They are so good looking and practically impossible to kill, but do you know what’s even harder to kill than a snake plant? A painting of a snake plant! The original gouache and ink painting is available for purchase in my Etsy shop right here!

Oh don’t feel bad, I always kill cacti! I think they are much harder to keep than people say.

Cool!! I like how the pot turned out with all the little lines. Have you ever shopped online for house plants? Ive gone to my local greenhouse, but there are some plants I cant find in the store. I want to have a few plants in my salon. Any suggestions where to buy online?

Love this!! So beautiful and inspirational. May I ask you what type of paint did you use? Thanks! And I’ve checked out your website and pinterest. Love it all! (:

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
