This afternoon I’m putting together a collection of bits and baubles that feel “wit & whistle-y”. I’ve been working on redesigning my wholesale catalog, and the last piece of the puzzle is a selection of styled product photos to throw into the mix. I need something to break up the pages of product thumbnails and to further flesh out my branding. Hopefully I’ll have as much fun taking the photos as I did gathering all this junk!

I kinda want this last shot to be a jigsaw puzzle!

The collection you gathered up looks great. I still need to create a “actual” wholesale catalog for my business. I have a few pages I created quickly to have in pdf but it’s time I step up my game for sure for 2015! I would love to see some peeks if you care to share :)

My current catalog is really just a pdf too. I can’t wait to be able to present something more substantial!

I love these. They really are their own kind of mood boards. I really want to collect props to included in my product photos, but I don’t want to end up looking random. Any suggestions?

Also, I can totally see there being Wit & Whistle puzzles. Just saying.

They are! I kind of went with my gut to put them together. Since the Wit & Whistle style is basically just whatever I personally like (neutral tones, a lot of texture, a bit of vintage, and a touch of rustic) I could just go around the house grabbing whatever little knickknacks I liked the look of and they all fit. Maybe make a list of the traits you want your props to reflect and go from there?

I love your comments more than I love chocolate (almost).
